Data & Tools
Welcome to the SR-DDRC Data & Tools
Data and tools are provided for you by the staff of the Southern Regional Drug Data Research Center (SR-DDRC). Below, you will find information for viewing SR-DDRC data visualizations, exploring dataset profiles in our Data Library, and downloading available datasets.
Additionally, users can access technical documentation and data dictionaries through our Resource Library
On this page, you will find links that allow you to search all available data and tools. If you can’t find what you need, send us an email at info@srddrc.com
Data by Region
The SR-DDRC produces regional, state-level, and county-level data visualizations to help users better understand drug-related data across the southern region.
Visit our Data by Region page where we share general regional drug trends and provide an interactive Power BI data visualization that allows users to explore datasets by state, county, or region. These visualizations will continue to expand as we add new datasets and additional tools representing the SR-DDRC region.
Data Library
The SR-DDRC Data Library provides detailed profiles of datasets that inform our regional analyses. Each dataset profile includes information about the source, time frame, key variables, and methods of data acquisition and processing.
Through the Data Library search, users can review available datasets, learn about their structure, and identify potential applications for research and analysis. This section will grow over time as new datasets are added to the SR-DDRC repository.
Data Download
When available, select datasets can be downloaded directly from our Data Download section of the site. These datasets include deidentified, aggregated and suppressed, or publicly available information curated by the SR-DDRC to support research, policy development, and public health efforts.
Users are encouraged to review the accompanying technical documentation and data dictionaries available through our Resource Library to ensure proper interpretation of the data.
